California soars into triple digit temperatures for the 6th straight day with flex alerts telling all Californians to cut power use.

Usually when the temperature rises we find relief by going to the beach, shopping mall, movie theater or restaurant. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us are at home running our air conditioners, opening our refrigerators and preparing home cooked meals.

Now, who would’ve thought 11,000 lightning strikes would rain down on Northern California bringing uncontrollable fires and the week long Lake, Ranch and Apple fires in Southern California continues to burn.

It’s been a rough year. I think we can all agree the last few months have been HARD. However, no matter how hard things seem right now, it’s important to stay positive.
