You Are What You Eat

As I hunker down at home, what I eat, how much I eat and what’s to eat has replaced what date it is, where am I going and whom I’m seeing. Southern California’s “shelter in place” is in it’s 6th week and I’m wondering if there’s truth to the saying, “you are what you eat”.

Breakfast mornings start with Kona Coffee and on this day, Morgan creates a delicious avocado wonton snack. 🤣

Banzai Jerky
The Hat

There’s been a few coronavirus cravings which included a Spicy Teri Bacon Jerky order and a drive thru pick up of onion rings and fries.

Peking Restaurant

Supporting small business as I visit a favorite eatery in Westminster, CA for their homemade noodles and pan fried dumplings to go.

Dinner Meals

Homemade Portuguese Bean Soup (a childhood favorite), Chicken Tortilla Soup and Lasagna are comfort meals.

Homemade Beef Curry and Beef Rib Plate from Matiki Island BBQ in Fullerton, CA.

How much you eat and what you eat does matter as I add unwanted pounds to my frame. As I settle into Week 7, I’m adjusting to my new life.😜

Continue to be mindful, remain safe and stay informed. Thank you for reading my post and following me as I go about my day. ❤️
