Safe At Home

“Trust the wait. Embrace the uncertainty.”

The news events have been overwhelming and I’m totally exhausted. I’ve decided to embrace my “stay-at-home life” and kick start my day with a cup of coffee and bake a banana bread. 😋 I watch John Krasinski’s “Some Good News” and it made me smile. 👍🏼 https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/amp/news/john-krasinski-returns-second-episode-some-good-news-1288649

Banana Bread

Our neighborhood trail is empty most weekdays, however it’s heartwarming to see other dog walkers, joggers, bike riders and families strolling along too as Mickey and I take a brief break.

Avocado Toast for lunch after receiving fresh avocados from my neighbor Wendy. Thank you 👍🏼

Andy is a character

I’ve been a longtime fan of Andy Bumatai, a “local” comedian from my hometown whose created “Pidgin News”. 🤙🏽

It’s so nice to see Andy is back on YouTube, after pausing his “Daily Pidgin” channel when he was diagnosed with throat cancer. Andy continues to make me laugh with his Hawaiian humor. 🤣 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MmQljlhZ-3Y

Pork Cutlet

A pork cutlet dinner with your choice of Japanese coffee cheesecake or a cherry pie. I look forward to Morgan’s dinner menus which have been creative, satisfying and tasty.

Haha…. My watch reminds me of my inactivity as I find myself taking fewer steps while staying at home.

At the end of the day, I realize doing what makes me happy during these uncertain times brings a sense of normalcy.

Remain calm, be safe and stay informed. Thank you for reading my post and following me as I go about my day. https://daywithdonna.com ❤️
